just a waitress... until i'm discovered
January 15th, 2004 - 12:39 a.m.
today was the very last day of my first semester and all i had to do was turn in the 15 page english paper that i finished last week. "the history of the music video and its effect on the decline of modern society." very deep and all. i actually enjoyed writing it. i still have to turn in 15 more pages for my fiction class in order to reach the 60 page count... my last fiction class was on monday, but i have until friday to email my teacher the stories. it shouldn't be so bad. but i have to forego my normal thursday lunch routine with sam in order to write it all, which makes me sad.
i had a bit to drink after work tonight, and i'm feeling a tad rambly. it's cool, i deserved those drinks, because it was hellof busy tonight. and it was a wednesday. what the fuck. but i made 120 dollars, which is very cool. i had a party of 17 with a 20 dollar gratuity, which was also cool.
well, because of this being my last day before these forthcoming three weeks off, i wanted to do something cool to celebrate it. like get something pierced or tattooed or something. (to those that don't live in illinois, you must be 21 to get tattoos in these here parts, which blows.) but instead, me and sam traveled the length of state street. i returned the sweaters i was gonna give david for christmas/hanukkah (because he sucks now, as you know) and added that credit onto a 15 dollar gift card i had at old navy, ending up with 44 free dollars to spend there. i bought so much stuff and only ended up spending eight dollars at old navy. it RULED.
then i spent 60 bucks at the brand ass new, three story forever 21 on state. it's the best place i ever saw. and what's super the best is that they're opening A SECOND H+M practically right next door.
there's something wrong with me.
but i bought the best shirt ever. read the title of this entry to see what it says.
